When is residential drug treatment needed? Does an addict have to get residential drug treatment in order be free of chemical dependence or can it be done on ones own? My father has a chemical dependence and I really want to find him a good residential drug treatment center to attend. I don't think he can break loose from this on his own even though he says he can.
