It took years for my mother to admit she had a chemical dependence. Her addiction caused much pain and sorrow in our family and childhood was not very pleasant for me. As I got older and figured out that my mother was actually suffering from a chemical dependence I decided to find help for her. After doing some research on alcohol drug treatment centers I decided to have an intervention done on my mother. My mother went into alcohol drug treatment centers two years ago and today she is the mother I always wanted her to be.
